The Bedroom Vehicle Solar Power Set-Up Fuse Holder
The point of this drawing is to clarify what an in-line fuse holder looks like.
If you do crimp splices, you will need the correct crimp tool and they must be taped to be made weatherproof. If using wire nuts you can use regular wire nuts and tape to make weatherproof or purchase waterproof wire nuts.
For in-line splices: strip wire no longer than 1/2 the splice length, and the stripper hole used must be for the size wire used.
For wire nuts: strip the wire no longer than the length of the wire nut. Even-up the ends of the stripped wire, hold them tight together, and slip the wire nut over the ends and twist it on, keeping a good hold on the two wires as you do. When you're done pull on each wire to make sure it's tight. Tape the splice if you need to make it weatherproof.
